Industrious people greet the early spring and all things on earth ring in the New Year. The lecture hall of Anqing Foreign Language School's east campus is full of festive atmosphere with a string of lanterns delivering warm wishes. At 9 A.M. on 20th February, 2021, Anqing Foreign Language School held the term beginning conference for the second semester of the 2020-2021 academic year, which was attended by all the faculty members and chaired by Vice Principal Liu Bing. There are three agendas at the conference.
The first item of the conference, President Madam Huang Wenli gave us a work report entitled ‘We Set Out Again, Work Together and Rush Forward as Responsible Partners’. First of all, Madam President extended New Year's greetings and festival wishes to everyone. Second of all, she talked about six aspects as follows: the performance highlights of all departments, safety work, preparation work for the Senior High School Entrance Examination and the College Entrance Examination, enrollment work, publicity work and the annual work goals of Anqing Foreign Language School. Finally, Madam President pointed out that in the new semester all departments in each campus and every faculty member should continue to focus on promoting the development of students and further consolidate the process, not only highlighting the core position of subject performance, but also giving consideration to the healthy and all-round development of the students so as to continuously accumulate strength for the growth of students and the development of the school. What's more, President Madam Huang Wenli stressed that we should make concerted efforts, shoulder heavy responsibilities and strive hard for a bright future.
The second agenda was the awarding ceremony of the ‘Top Ten Touching Figures in the Campus of Anqing Foreign Language School in 2020’. The Touching Figures were Hu Sen, Sun Fang, Ning Afu, Jiang Ping, Liu Yaju, Zhang Mengmeng, Yan Wu, Ji Yukun, Wang Bo and Cao Wende. Their touching deeds stirred everyone's heart through the video. The touching narration and pictures showed the details of their daily work, which made everyone immersed in the warmth who frequently paid tribute to the winners with warm applause.
The third agenda of the conference was to hold the lucky draw activity for staff in the new semester. Everyone enjoyed the happy time for the big family of Anqing Foreign Language School and ran to the new semester together in an atmosphere of jubilation.
To conclude, the New Year opens up new hopes, and the new journey carries new dreams. All staff from Anqing Foreign Language School have made concerted efforts to develop the school into an international high quality school with a consistent 15-year system from kindergarten to senior high school, which added brilliance to the education cause of Anqing City.
